Snapchat AR Shoppable Experience

Objective

Drive awareness and active consideration of Galaxy products.

Created a fully immersive digital shopping experience, from product introduction and trial through to purchase, that could be accessed anywhere via the Snapchat camera.

Tactic

AR shopping and try-on represents the future of retail here in Australia and globally, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

In previous activity, we saw great traction and success working with Snapchat, particularly when targeting Australia’s hard-to-reach Gen Z and Millennial audiences.

  • Reached over 1.03m Snapchatters with the AR Lens 

  • 27s average play time, significantly above the 12s-20s average

  • Over 65.5k shares, with the lens being shared with friends and family for an earned reach of 91.7K 

  • 3.22k saves of the lens experience for later use 

  • Over 6.7k swipe ups onto Samsung dotcom from the lens with an average screen time on the Galaxy Z Flip3 product page of 6.22s

  • Social - 9x16 videos across Snapchat
